Today I feel like an Aggie again. The atmosphere at Reed Arena was a burgeoning maroon. Music blasted in the air and the Dance team put on a performance that I will remember for some time; the way those plush maroon pants moved was enough to raise the temperature of the arena. The basketball team filed in and the announcer was true to this movie stereotype. Jorrrdan Jonessss! The girl rocked the first three periods but suffered an unfortunate injury later. Here's hoping she gets hopping soon! The match went back and forth till the end, the Aggies covered a difference of 15 points in the fourth period. I could taste the anticipation in the air. 5 seconds to go and Courtney Walker in a swift move resets the balance: the scores tie! Overtime was as exciting but our team maintained the lead. The Texas A&M basketball women's team won against Tennessee. The Fighting Texas Aggies band was playing during time outs. The yell leaders were also on fire. BTHO we did!
