Clothes are a very important part of a woman's identity. And in today's confusing world, it is very difficult to help your daughters buy the right clothes. Let me start by saying that comfort should be of utmost importance, which mean she should feel good about what she is wearing (whether it is actually comfortable or not). But say you manage to navigate around the women's clothing aisle successfully, the question of inner wear still looms in the vicinity.
Many women have recently taken to not wearing bras. But personally, I like myself better in one than without one. It is always best to consult the attendants at the shop when it comes to choosing a size. They might be able to help with the style of the bra as well, but that depends on the clothes you will be wearing too.
I had to enlist the help of an aunt to buy my first bra. But it took a few turns, before I found a style and size that suited me. Growing up, I never used training bras, and I wish someone had clued me in to them before; so that is what I am doing here. A training bra helps avoid many awkward middle school experiences. I bought new bras every year as I was growing up. This made sense since my body was changing at that pace. These days every time I lose or gain a chunk of weight, I have to consider shopping. It gets tiring and expensive, but it is worth it if you find the perfect fit.
Undergarments affect your hygiene. The wrong kind of underwear can increase chances of infection. It is, therefore, important to be patient with your body and find out what works for it. If my mother was around to warn me about thongs, I could saved myself some pain.
Some secrets are not meant to kept secret. And the more we talk about these kind of things, the easier it is on our daughters and their parents.
